Lost in Kostko Live at the Key Club – 14.09.11

Sounds like it was a great show! Attendees said it was a full house and everyone had fun. Also, some of Tyler’s stars showed up to support the group including Colton Haynes, Dylan O’Brien, Hollan Roden, Ian Bohen and Booboo Stewart.

Many thanks to the various Twitter users that posted pictures from the LiK show last night at the Key Club (if you’d like your picture to be taken down please let me know). I’m still on the lookout for more pictures and any video, and was hoping to find more before making this post. Remember you can always send to the site, tweet me @TPoseyOnline or send a mail.

Also, the band’s looking for your media from the show as well to add to their Facebook. If you’d rather send to them, send an email to LostinKostkoPR[at]gmail.com.

UPDATE: More pics added thanks to Just Jared Jr

Lost in Kostko Interview with Live 105 Radio

Lizzy Gonzalez from Bay Area Radio Station Live 105 sat down with the guys of Lost in Kostko to have a fun little chat about their music.

I’ve listened to a couple of your songs and I wanted to know what some of them were about. Somebody is a pretty cool one, sounds like an anthem for teenage angst.

Tyler: Yeah, I actually wrote it about Teen Wolf, the TV show that I’m in. The show is about teen angst, and wanting to be “somebody”.

Freddy: It’s actually the first one we wrote as a band, we pretty much wrote our own parts in every song.

Jeremy: Alright the next song, what are the first letters in every word for “Sorry To Disappoint”?

Lizzy (Interviewer): STD?

Tyler: Yeah, it’s about contracting and extinguishing an STD.

Alex: And the lesson you learn after that.

Tyler: It’s a true story too, but it may or may not have happened to one of us. The song “Thank you” is also about teen angst and just wanting to be out on your own. It’s like “Thanks a lot parents, but I’m done I want to do my own thing now” and “Footsteps” is about my little bro and growing up I know life is hard, it’s going to be hard. “Dexter” is about the show Dexter the serial killer and killing people.

Tyler Performs with his band, Lost in Kostko at the Key Club

New Teen Wolf pin up Tyler Posey offered to take his shirt off while performing with his rock band in Hollywood last night, June 30th. Tyler, 19, who stars in the MTV re-make of the cult 80s classic, rocked the crowd and worked up a sweat while belting out songs with his group Lost in Kostko at the Key Club in front of scores of adoring girls.

As the frontman for the band, Tyler, said to be the next Taylor Lautner, worked the crowd into a frenzy and energetically leaped around the small stage. He told fans: ‘I’m really sweaty now… do you want me to take off my shirt?’

Before the show, which showcased young acoustic bands, crowds of young girls called Tyler’s name and begged to have their picture taken with him.

Random people called out: ‘Tyler, we love the show!’

Smiling Tyler, originally from Santa Monica, hugged fans and danced around while the other bands were performing. Lost in Kostko performed three songs and Tyler jokingly asked the promoter for more time.
