Tyler, Dylan O’Brien, Tyler Hoechlin, Crystal Reed and the entire Teen Wolf ensemble have been nominated in the 1st ever Youth Rock Awards, which honors entertainers in music, acting and dance under the age of 25.
Unfortunately the nominations have put Posey and Hoechlin against each other, but it’s okay, you can (and should) vote every day by registering with your Facebook or Twitter, so show them both some love and support the show! The competition’s pretty stiff, and any win is a victory.
Also, Tyler’s band, Lost in Kostko, announced on Twitter that they will be performing at the award show, which airs live on December 7th! Congrats guys and good luck!
The cast (minus Crystal, who’s out of the country) got together to do commentary for the upcoming Season 1 DVD yesterday and shared a few pictures. No word yet on the release date. Colton Haynes announced that there would be a special surprise for the fans once the official Teen Wolf Facebook page hit 1 million likes. So go do that if you haven’t already! Teen Wolf’s Tyler Posey and Dylan O’Brien to Star at London Comic Con
TEEN WOLF fans, keep an eye out for an American werewolf in London next month – Tyler Posey and Dylan O’Brien, stars of the smash hit supernatural drama, will both be special guests at October’s MCM Expo London Comic Con!
Tyler, who plays TEEN WOLF’s lead character Scott McCall, and Dylan, who plays his best friend Stiles, will be meeting fans on both Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 October of the show, which is the UK’s biggest pop culture event.
Inspired by the classic 1985 movie, TEEN WOLF tells the story of Scott McCall, a loner high school student who is bitten by a werewolf while walking in the woods. Scott finds himself turning from school outcast into an ace lacrosse player and girl magnet… but being a werewolf is a curse as well as a blessing.
Airing on MTV in the US and Sky Living in the UK, TEEN WOLF has proved a massive hit with viewers, appealing to fans of Buffy The Vampire Slayer, True Blood and Twilight alike, and has already been renewed for a second season.

Some blogs have reported that the longer season is definitely happening but clearly nothing is written in stone yet. It is looking very promising however, fingers crossed!

EXCLUSIVE: I hear that MTV is considering doubling its second-season order to Teen Wolf. In July, MTV renewed the supernatural drama, inspired by the 1985 movie, for a second season with a 12-episode pickup. Now I’ve learned that there are discussions to expand the order to 24 episodes, which would be filmed back-to-back with a short hiatus between them. The teen-skewing werewolf show starring Tyler Posey, Crystal Reed and Dylan O’Brien was MTV’s highest-rated new series this season until breakout hit Awkward came along. It averaged about 1.7 million viewers on Mondays at 10 PM. Creator Jeff Davis, Marty Adelstein, Michael Thorn, René Echevarria, Tony DiSanto and Liz Gateley executive produce.
Well this solves the mystery of why Lost in Kostko scheduled a live show date on the same day as the convention.
Big thanks to Laura, who is supposed to attend this event for letting me know. It turns out the Bad Moon Rising Convention that was scheduled to hold in Australia on Sept 24th and 25th has been postponed till May 19th and 20th. The organizers sent a mail yesterday to attendees about the change. According to them, the only thing that has changed is the date. Everything else, including the venues, activities and guests remain the same so those of you that have already purchased tickets should still be okay.
On the Culture Shock Events site however, it should be noted that only the date for Melbourne has changed for now, but most likely the second date would soon be changed as well. I’m awaiting some more confirmation from the organizers, but it seems like it’s safe to say the convention will not be happening this year anymore.
Tyler’s been talking about Lost in Kostko doing a few dates in California soon and today he and Alex Gertsch finally shared some details about their mini tour. So far there are only 4 dates set. I will be sure to post more if they come out.
UPDATE: The Oct 30 date has been cancelled and changed to Nov 12.

Latina has listed Tyler as their number 1 beautiful Latino Star under 25!!! On being awarded the title, Tyler had this to say:

We first got word of this a couple of weeks ago, especially when Tyler described it as a ‘Mexican Clerks’. Here’s more info, thanks to Variety.
Maya Entertainment will produce indie comedy “Taco Shop” with Tyler Posey (“Teen Wolf”) toplining.
Rick Najera will produce along with Robert A. Parada of Streetwise Entertainment and Moctesuma Esparza and Sandra Avila of Maya.
“Taco Shop” will be directed by Joaquin Perea with production starting this month. Script, written by Najera and Oskar Toruno, centers on a young man who quits his taco shop job to open his own shop — but finds himself in an all-out war when a gourmet taco truck parks across the street. Pic also stars Carlos Alazraqui, Eric Roberts, Felipe Esparza, Laura Harring, Paula Jai Parker and Parvesh Cheena.
Maya has worldwide rights will distribute domestically.
The movie, which started filming today (pics below!), is directed by Joaquin Perea.
Ever since they released their debut disc, Crazy for You, last summer, Cali fuzz-poppers Best Coast have become your favorite “cool” celebrity’s favorite “cool” band, championed by celebs from Miranda Cosgrove to Jimmy Fallon (and just about everyone in between).
So, it should come as no surprise that the Coast’s new supervideo for Crazy for You track “Our Deal” is quite the celebrified thing, featuring cameos from the likes of Donald Glover, Alia Shawkat, Chloë Moretz and Tyler Posey … and as an added bonus, it’s directed by the long-reigning Queen of Hollywood Cool: Drew Barrymore.
And while the full “Our Deal” video won’t premiere until August 2, we’re proud to present you with a 30-second sneak peek of the clip right now. And judging from what we’ve seen so far, much like Best Coast’s music, the vid pulls heavily from ’50s-style teen dramas — everything from “Rebel Without a Cause” to “Grease” — with Moretz (the breakout star of “Kick-Ass”) and Posey (he’s the dude from MTV’s “Teen Wolf”) portraying starstruck lovers who just happen to be members of rival gangs, the “Day Trotters” and the “Night Creepers.”
Will Moretz and Posey’s love prove stronger than their colors? How many switchblade fights will we see? And how awesome will the inevitable “drag race through the riverbed of the L.A. riverbed” scene be? You’ll just have to wait and see, when Best Coast’s “Our Deal” video premieres in full on MTV August 2.
